The Ottawa Folk Festival is located in Hog’s Back Park, a fabulous green space centrally located within the city’s core. Hog’s Back Park is bounded by Colonel By, Heron, Riverside, and Hog’s Back roads.
The best place to drop off passengers that are on their way to the Ottawa Folk Festival at Hog’s Back Park is at the ‘drop-off area’ near the Heron Road ‘main gate’ (situated slightly west of the corner of Heron Road and Riverside Drive). If you’re driving east on Heron Road, veer right before getting to Riverside Drive; you’ll see the drop-off area on your left. If you’re heading west on Heron, look for a sign on your right that reads, “Vincent Massey Park – Heron Road West” – veer right there. This will bring you to an underpass that leads to the ‘drop-off’ area.
PUBLIC TRANSIT
OC Transpo Day Passes: Purchase a Day Pass directly from the bus driver for $7.75, and the whole family (2 adults and up to 4 children under 12) can travel with one Day Pass on weekends.
